Family Practice
Dr. Melnikow cares for the whole person within the context of family and community. She sees patients of all ages and especially enjoys caring for children. Dr. Melnikow is particularly interested in women’s health care issues, including prenatal care, breastfeeding and preventive health maintenance. Her research areas include preventive services, prenatal care, patient compliance, and physician behavior. She also studies underserved populations and ways to improve cost effectiveness in women’s health care.
