Molecular Markers Dr. Butler's research include cancer epidemiology, diet and lifestyle factors, use of molecular markers to assess gene-environment joint effects. Current research interests include: modification heterocyclic amine intake and risk of colon cancer by genes involved in metabolic pathways, and the role of diet in epidemiology of cancers with viral etiologies.
